The Warren County Career Center Public Safety Office recently received a corporate donation of a complete set of auto extrication tools and equipment for instructing both High School and Adult Education students in vehicle rescue. The donation was made by the Holmatro Company, through the Vogelpohl Fire Equipment Company. The set of tools includes a power unit, a “Jaws of Life” spreader, steel cutter and hydraulic ram.
According to Kim Fladung, Public Safety Coordinator, this is the first set of rescue tools that the school has possessed. “Up to this date, we have had to borrow rescue tools from local fire departments in order to instruct or students,” he said. “This donation will allow our instructors to conduct more vehicle rescue classes and utilize the latest rescue tools in the instruction. We truly appreciate the donation from Holmatro and Vogelpohl Fire Equipment.”
