Two Mars Hill Academy seniors recognized by National Merit Scholarship Program

MASON, OH – Two Mars Hill Academy seniors have been recognized for their achievement in the National Merit Scholarship program. Jenna Jacques of West Chester earned Semi-finalist status, and Kyle Oedy of Lebanon has earned Commended Student status. Historically, over of 25% of Mars Hill seniors have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

“This is confirmation of the effectiveness of a classical Christian education,” shares Mars Hill’s Rhetoric School Principal Matthew Beatty. “At Mars Hill Academy, we do not teach to any test, but rather hold true to classical methods while pursuing standards of truth, goodness, and beauty grounded in the Scriptures.”
