Study Project Management with the author of a textbook on the subject, David Blue, at the Warren County Career Center Adult Education South Campus in Kings Mills. Blue has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, business and information technology projects, holding a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Project Management. He also has experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.
“Getting Started in Project Management,” a 40-hour course, begins Sept. 9 and runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. through Nov. 13. Gain the necessary knowledge and have hands-on experience with creating all the necessary documentation to present a project. Tuition is $1,000.
Two more in-depth courses that follow are “ITIL 2011 Foundations”, a six-week course that focuses on Information Technology Service Management, and CompTIA Project+, a 40-hour course that covers the entire project life cycle. ITIL Foundations begins Jan. 6, 2014 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., and ends Feb. 12. CompTIA Project begins Feb. 24, 2014 and runs through April 30, same days and times.
