The Heritage Village Museum Fall Harvest Festival is quickly approaching and this year we have pulled out all the stops. The festival is Saturday September 21st, 10am-5pm and Sunday September 22nd, 12pm-5pm. Visitors will enjoy wagon rides, children’s donut eating contest, and old fashioned games! There will be pumpkins to paint and take home as a beautiful holiday decoration for one dollar. Annie Oakley will be here doing her amazing trick shooting! Also, we will be teaching those interested how to weave together one of the oldest man made products. For ten dollars visitors will be able to make and take their own broom home! Our historic 19th Century Village will be open for touring, along with hearth cooking and cider pressing demonstrations. Make sure to browse our concession stand, gift shop and view our Antique Quilt and Somerset Church exhibits. Also don’t miss our 1869 Vintage Baseball trophy game to be played on Saturday at 1pm, join us and cheer on your favorite players!
