Cincinnati Children’s Choir Announces NEW Cincinnati Children’s Satellite Choir programs to begin October 2013

The Cincinnati Children’s Choir Satellite Program continues to grow with the addition of four new satellite locations! New locations include Otterbein-Lebanon, St. James-West End, Fairfield, and Northminster – Finneytown. The CCC Satellite Choir program now offers 11 convenient locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Young singers from Clermont County, Butler County, West Side, Blue Ash, Oxford, Northern Kentucky, Clinton County, Lebanon, West End, Fairfield, and Finneytown, will all have the opportunity to sing, learn, and perform in a children’s choir program beginning in October. All of the Cincinnati Children’s Choir programs are non-competitive while focusing on artistry, arts education, building community, and self-esteem. CCC’s Satellite Program is 10-week sessions bi-annually, which allows students (typically grades 3 through 6) to participate at remote locations and come together once a session for a concert with all CCC ensembles.

The satellite program is a great chance for interested young singers to explore choral music in a creative and fun learning environment that is close to home”, says Jim Waddle, Operations and Outreach Manager for the Cincinnati Children’s Choir. Waddle says this is a tremendous opportunity for children who love to sing and are looking for a quality learning experience.
