Acting Up reaches out in Mason

Several members from Acting Up's young performers community theater's cast of Children of Eden have been giving back to the community lately. On a recent Thursday, they visited Cedar Village retirement community in Mason, Ohio and entertained many residents with a selection of songs from their upcoming production.

Oftentimes people come and go during performances at Cedar Village; this time all stayed until the final note was sung. One resident approached the group and declared, “I am tired of being retired – I want to come and work with you!” She went on to say that Acting Up would be hearing from her soon. On the following Saturday this talented group traveled to The Kenwood retirement community for another performance. Again, the group garnered rave reviews. Needless to say, residents of both facilities were impressed by the ability and enthusiasm of these young performers.
