3rd Annual Howl’ oween Pooch Parade

Dogs will rule at Historic Downtown Lebanon’s third annual Howl-oween Pooch Parade on Saturday.

The 3rd annual Howl-oween Pooch Parade will take place Saturday October 19 in the streets of downtown Lebanon. The event encourages both dogs and their owners to dress up for a parade and prizes in Lebanon. The event is held as a fundraiser for Historic Downtown Lebanon, Inc., (HDLI)

This is a family event that puts our “Best Friends” in the spotlight! 

Participants can register now through the day of the event at the HDLI office, 17 N. Broadway or at most downtown businesses. Cost is $10 until Thursday and then $15 on Friday or Saturday. Registration on Saturday lasts from 11:00 a.m. to noon. At 1 p.m. Saturday, the dogs pose on the stage on Mulberry Street between Broadway and Mechanic streets. Immediately following the grand display, the dogs and owners will parade around downtown Lebanon. An award ceremony will be held after the parade, with awards given to prettiest; scariest; funniest; best character and best dog duo,(Dog and owner) and People’s Choice! One award each will be given to large and small dogs. (Except People’s Choice Award)

All entries will get a “doggy bag” filled with a variety of prizes. Raffles for door prizes will also be held. Several vendors offering a variety of pet products will be in attendance as will representatives from the Warren County Humane Association and several rescue leagues.

The Pooch Parade is sponsored by HDLI and Four Paws Animal Hospital.
